Additional information about today's event:

Convened by the Global Campaign for Education (GCE), Light for the World, RESULTS and GCE-US this event will focus on collaborative advocacy efforts around the right to quality, inclusive education taken forward by local civil society organizations, national education coalitions, and international organizations.

The event will gather leaders from around the globe as part of the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF- https://sustainabledevelopment.un.org/hlpf/2019#programme) on Sustainable Development in New York City in July 2019.

This event is key to broadening the data, scope and understanding of quality, inclusive education and its enabling role within the Sustainable Development Agenda, by bringing the voice of civil society organizations into the political debate. Perspectives from different regions will provide a comprehensive view of good practices and shared challenges we need to overcome for building sustainable, gender equal, inclusive, peaceful, democratic and resilient societies.

Participants are welcome from 8:30am for registration until 5:30pm. The first session will start at 9am sharp.
